(Please find the LFG posting here.) The monks at the Monastery of Many Eyes weave the finest spider silk in the Bannerlands, and their rites to their eight-eyed goddess Aranea are full of secrets—and therefore full of rumours. But nobody in the nearby village of Gargaston has heard from the monks since the earthquake a week ago tore the foundations of the monastery apart. Who will be the heroes to search for survivors? Welcome to The Master Under the Monastery , an introductory 3rd-level one-shot to the homebrew adventure run by yours truly, Nerth the Dungeon Master! Here's what you need to know. Requirements & Rules Campaign:  Welcome to Beneath the Bannerlands , a homebrew adventure that should last eight to twelve sessions (two to three months). Perfect for some summer fun, or to learn how to play D&D! Date: Every Monday at noon CST / 1pm EDT / 5pm GMT. Each session should last 3-4 hours. Tech Requirements: Virtual tabletop and character sheets in Roll20, voice chat over mic in Discord. Characters: For people new to Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, I offer free help with the rules during character creation and play, so that you can learn as you go along. For more experienced players, you are creating a 3rd-level character with the following rules: 27 point buy for ability scores. Access to all books and Unearthed Arcana. I have the PDFs and am always here to help. No evil alignments. A gentleman's agreement not to steal the spotlight off of other players, or ruin someone else's fun. Price: $10 USD per session via Paypal. (This game will require payment to the Game Master at this rate. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.) What am I paying for? A homebrew campaign that is built around your character and their story as you play, realized immersively with custom tokens, HD art assets, and a character sheet in Roll20 that I'll update over the course of the campaign so when you sit down to play, you can just play! A more mature and committed group that will be here on time and prepared to play! My collection of roleplaying game knowledge, PDFs, and experience built over a decade with different editions of Dungeons & Dragons, which lends to a smooth and immersive session! Access to the benefits of my paid subscriptions, including Syrinscape for music and sound effects, Roll20 for no ads, and Inkarnate for unique homebrewed maps when prebuilt ones aren't enough! All this adds together to roughly one to two hours of preparation on my end for each hour of play. I'm happy to run games basically at cost for the subscriptions, which will help me continue to improve the gaming service I can provide. How do I register to play? I am looking for up to four players, although I'm happy to run games starting with three players. Please send me a private message or respond in the Listing Discussion below with the following: Your Name: Campaign Information: The Master Under the Monastery; Mondays, 1pm EDT. Discord ID (Username#0000): Do you have any experience playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition?: What are you looking for in a game of Dungeons & Dragons?: Do you understand that the game costs $10 USD per session via Paypal?: If you have a specific character concept in mind (such as a race, class, or even general concept), feel free to include it with your post. If not, that's also okay! I take applications as a first-come, first-served basis, with spots on a waiting list in case a player can't make it to the session.

We have our first player character, Pulsifer Benedict Law played by DM4Life! A diviner, gentleman, deadbeat dad, and compulsive gambler, Pulsifer has many hats. He's enrolled in Glimmerkeep, the premier institution of magical learning in the Bannerlands. Glimmerkeep hoards both magical knowledge and objects, and there are rumours of students going missing after unethical duels or experiments. Still, the eccentric faculty of Glimmerkeep would pay a prince's ransom for someone to retrieve the knowledge buried under the rubble of the Monastery of Many Eyes... Please let us know if you're interested in grabbing a seat at our table!
A second slot has been taken for this game by Elwynn, a furious ball of fun in a small halfling package. "El" is a rogue with a love for good food, fun (often in the way of jokes or thrill-seeking), and an insatiable curiosity for knowledge both useful and arcane. Nimble of mind and finger, El is going to take what this world has and make the most of it, even if it kills him. Nerth seems like good people and I'm anxious to enjoy his campaign, if what you've read sounds interesting, come join us for some dangerous fun!
Tokens for Elwynn  and Pulsifer , our first two PCs. This early 2000's era computer game graphic quality could also be yours! Welcome to the starting hamlet of Garganstone ! Located deep in the Fangwood, Garganstone lies on a hill overlooking a shallow ravine called Giant's Gulch. Legend has it that a giant threw a massive rock, and the hamlet was built on top of that very stone! Of course, people are quick to mention that the stories leave out what the giant was throwing the rock at , and whatever it was is trapped beneath the hamlet's mines... If you're interested in joining us at our homebrew campaign, please DM or reply below! We have seats for one to two more players.
