Dynamic Lighting Layer doesnt show up on right-click - layer

Hey, so basically I set up a dynamic lighting situation in one of my dungeons. i drew all the walls and used single lines to cover the closed doors. my attempt is, when the players open the door i just take the line thats covering the door and move it to GM-Layer, which works great. (But if anyone has a better way to deal with this, please let me know - i am pretty new to DL). So i just select the line, right-click and send it to the GM Layer. BUT when I wanted to do the same thing the other way arround I realized that the DL Layer doesnt show up when i do the right click. so the only way I see for now is to copy the line from gm layer and paste it in the DL Layer. (And yes, i could also draw new lines for the doors, but as i used a poly-line for the doors its a little more complex and very uncomfortable). So, is there a reason I cant just send things to the DL-Layer? Oh and also - I drew a line on a door and i acutally can select it anymore. its just shown in the DL-Layer, it Blocks light and movement but i am unable to select it (so i also cant delete it) - anyone similar expiriences? Thanks for your help in advance! Cheers Tobi

The command to move items to the DL layer is only available with advanced hotkeys turned on (in your settings tab in-game). The specific sequence is: Move selected object(s) to Dynamic Lighting layer    l , You can find the complete list by clicking the info button next to that setting option or just go directly here .

When an "isdrawing" entity is hard to select sometimes relaunching helps OR zooming way in and way out or just basically jamming zooom a bunch and reattempting to select helps.  You can also ALWAYS select the drawing if you use the drag select box and encompass the entire object(though you often get unwanted stuff) I find this issue only arises with "lines" not shapes.  So if you do alot of door entity movements, turn them into polygons.  I set the line to super thin, fill both sides of the polygon color so it fills the shape you make, and draw a long thin rectangle.   EDIT:  And if you can predraw your vertical and horizontal doors and paste them to places on the map for faster drawing, diagonal doors are the pain in the butt ones.   EDIT2:  You know its really weird that they specifically went out of their way to prevent rotation of art entities on the dynamic lighting layer.
@keithcurtis - THANK YOU SO MUCH! this makes my life so much easyer!! @DM Eddie ! Thanks as well! but non of it worked, and now i have a door thats impossible to open! :D so i really have to hope they will just go with "the lock is broken and can't be opened" and won't roll a nat 20 while trying it!
