Noticed yesterday that the Roll20 5E sheet only list one Background and that’s Acolyte. Also, the only Archetype it offers for Rogue is Thief. The DM commented that this must be a bug and should be reported.
If the DM owns the books on Roll20, they can share their compendium access to the game. The DM would have to Game Settings -> Compendium Settings, and click the Yes option next to "Share my Compendium with players?" -Adam
S. Parker said: So the DM has to own the books that those classes belong to? Yes - if the DM has not purchased any books on Roll20, then the only content in the compendium will be the content that comes from the SRD. I.E., one background, one subclass per class, etc. -Adam
Keep in mind that you can manually fill in anything you want there. You don't need to own the content on Roll20 to just fill in the sheet with whatever you want.
Sparker said: So the DM has to own the books that those classes belong to? The DM/GM, or the player themself. Players can access any compendium they own in any game(as long as GM haven't blocked it), but can't share this access to others. Only the Creator of the game can share their own Compendium access to the group. https://wiki.roll20.net/Compendium_Sharing
