Forgotten realms, the Thunder Rift. A DnD 5e game. A small barony within the Thunder rift needs adventurers, business people and heroes. The Rift is a wild area of the Sword Coast, untamed by the peoples there and ripe for development. Brave, smart and overall daring people of all kinds could rise to places of power within the area if they can brave the creatures that dwell there. The baron has need of those wanting to make a difference. “ We have an opportunity to tame the Thunder Rift and in doing so to put down roots, together we could create a court of Lords and Ladies” - Baroness Vrishka Nightstar The thunder rift is home to a diverse assortment of creatures both magnificent and terrifying. The veil between the planes is weak in places, some say the rift itself moves between them. The creatures that inhabit those planes may indeed walk the dark places of the Rift. I have been playing and Dm'ing tabletop games since the late 80's. I found the chance to become someone or something else an addictive prospect, so much so that I got into acting (voice and stage) as well as writing. My primary concern when running a game is whether the players are all having a great time. After all that is why we all come together and play, to share in the great victory's and the bittersweet defeats that make up a great story presented by me and driven by you. The experience should be one that we all share as players and a GM, I make a point of constantly asking myself. “Are my players having a great time?” So what should I expect from paying to play in this game? The expectation should be that you will experience a constructed, interactive, player driven story in which you are the hero. Your actions should be the ones that define the fate of the Rift and its occupants, your characters will have major roles to playing in building and effecting the world around them. Paying to play also removes sudden breakdown of games and players disappearing mid way through things. All materials are provided by myself, beginners are very welcome. The game is fully interactive with tokens, maps, music and atmospheric effects to lend to the immersion of being in a living would of fantasy and adventure. The DM has a Pro account and uses every tool that provides. This includes tokens for your own characters, their companions etc. Games will run without fail, taking time out to play in a game and be part of a group is a commitment. Our free time is precious and I acknowledge and respect that. I take the game experience seriously and place myself as responsible for everyone at the game experiencing the adventure they expect and want. Character creation can be as simple or as detailed as the players desire, back stories, ambitions will be woven into the narrative as much or as little as the players desire. Full help on creating a character is provided with a focus on what you as a player are looking to experience. All players will start at level 1 and will be created before the first session with as much help as the player wants. Roll20's required payment disclaimer: "This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 per session via PayPal.
