[LFP][LMoP][D&D 5E][FREE][EST] Group needs a Healer! Looking for New-Exp player for laid-back campaign for group of beginners

DM Looking for Player! Now that I have your attention: Greetings!  I am looking for 1 player for weekly games as our cleric is leaving us. Day: Wednesday Time: 6:45p -10pm EST Platform: roll20 + discord voice ABOUT US: The group is comprised of mostly newer players and I'm taking them Lost mines of Phandelver w/ additions of Dragons of IceSpire Peak.  Sadly another of my adventures will be departing because of Life. What we are looking for: - open to being a cleric/healer to fill our missing role - Must be able to mesh well with the group.  - Open minded.  - enjoys some roleplay - will not derail the campaign as this is an Introduction for my other players. - follow Wheaton's Law  - Limitations of foul language due to children in the background.  - either new or slightly seasoned. The current party make up after departure: Lv 3 half orc Monk Lv 3 deep gnome wizard Lv 3 dragonborn paladin Rules about my campaign: - Since they are new, I've limited them to PHB and Tasha's. If I find a more seasoned player, I may allow different sources. - Definitely have my own house rules that we will discuss if chosen. - As mentioned the campaign outline is that of Lost Mines of Phandelver + Dragon of Icespire Peak. - No out of game real world issues are to be discussed in game. Racism, politics, religion will not be tolerated. If anyone is interested, please do not private message me. Instead, tell me the following in comment section: - something about you - what you could bring to the group, and your experience. (if any) - you understand this isn't on a veteran player level. It's more lighthearted and easy to welcome newcomers, but does offer challenges. - you understand racism and politics in game will not be tolerated. We would certainly like to find a female to add a different dynamic to the group. But it doesn't have to be.
I am interested but I have some questions. Would you mind if I send a private message as to not gum up the thread nor waste your time.

Hello Matt, I am very interested in joining. I haven’t been playing for very long, maybe about two years, but I do believe that I am a very adaptive player who enjoys good roll playing and character development more than good combat. I have never played a healer but have wanted to for some time. I believe that this would be a good learning experience for me and maybe I could possibly be a good addition to your group. I like the idea of helping create a good story that can be enjoyable for all the people playing. If you would have me I would love to play with your group.
Yo. I'm an old-school 2E player who's never played 5E but really, really wants to start. Also, I always used to be the one to DM back in the day, so I have less experience as an actual player even though I've racked hundreds of hours of table time, if not thousands. In short, I'm a weird blend of highly seasoned and utter n00b. I understand the dynamics of tabletop RP thoroughly, but the mechanics of this edition are totally new to me. I'm just really itching to RP again. I miss it. Easygoing is exactly what I need to give me time to get up to speed and shake the rust off. And this is D&D, not World of Darkness - I have zero interest in mingling real-life unpleasantness with my fun escapist fantasy, so no problem there.  If you don't mind a bit of slowness early on as I learn the mechanics, I'm more than happy to play whatever the party needs to continue their story. Hit me up if you're interested. TY!
