Token Settings - GM Notes - Pasted Images not Saving

When I paste an image on the clipboard into the GM Notes section of a token's settings, it's not getting saved. If I put some text after the image, the text gets saved, but not the image.

The way that images are saved on GM notes and handouts (pretty much throughout Roll20) requires that they either be uploaded (through drag and drop from the desktop), or copied and pasted from an online source. My assumption has been that there is some vital metadata. In any case, copying from a source on your local hard drive and pasting, will not work.
Thanks! That's what I was finding, but I'd hoped I might have missed something. I'm not so much wanting to paste from my hard drive as from my clipboard, using the win+sh+s snippet tool, but it amounts to the same thing. I found a workaround that sped things up for me: You can paste from the clipboard into Discord (or Messenger, etc) giving you a super quick means of getting at a hosted copy of it.

Exactly, you can paste from the clipboard, but you need to have copied from an online source. It's weird, but I assume there's a reason for it. I have an extension that allows me to right click an image and send it to Imgur, and automatically fill my clipboard with the URL. I primarily use that for posting things in chat using the markdown [img](url) method.
