So, I and a friend of mine (who would be the DM) are looking to gauge the interest in a Fate game run on saturday nights. Fate is a somewhat newer experience for us, primarily having experience running 3.5, and WoD, though we've both played Fate and are hoping to get a long lasting game going here on what we think is a pretty awesome system. Right now looking at a sci-fi game. Galaxy spanning adventure style. Mercenaries, mega-corps, and a touch of psionics and ancient mysteries. It's a homebrew setting that's been used for a few successful campaigns and short adventures in the past couple of years. If this gets up and running, we'd likely be looking at evenings, central time. Possibly around 7:30, but that's workable if we get a group set up. Additionally, we're curious what the interest here would be in a game that's sort of run via a hybrid Voice + Text model. This is something we've done for years playing D&D3.5 through maptool and ventrillo, where the group is on voice, and the game is conducted through that manner, but character dialogue/Roleplay is done via text chat. (Yes, this would be a story/RP focused game, though those who enjoy action and combat wouldn't be disappointed) This use of Ventrillo + text chat is what we intend to do, though it seems full voice is the norm here. Would anyone be interested in a game that conducts it's roleplay segments through the text chat? Looking forward to your responses, Thanks for reading!
