The first version that came out had a reputation (earned in my opinion thro experience) of PC death and TPKs.  Did your changes deal with that aspect?

This is version 2.2. It's not particularly deadly. A certain roll will get you killed, but I've played a game where a direct hit with a HEAT rpg round didn't kill the PC.
