TLDR: We're playing Dungeon of the Mad Mage with a t w i s t. All new players start at level one, don't bother making a backstory or character you'll get attached to, your first task is to survive the session. If you're familiar with "The All Guardsman Party" then you'll know what Darwinian Character creation is. If your character dies they stay that way and make Brutal Saves (They are dead when they hit 0, and death saves determine if you can be revived). The DM uses a persistent world, so any groups that have been through the dungeon has already killed encounters and looted treasure, but there are some unexplored areas left. Running Tonight, and whenever DM chooses. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Do you have nothing to do tonight? That's right, tonight! Today, as in the current time. Then come on down and hang out with the boys to engage in a day of dungeon delving, betrayal, and grinding! As I! Who am not the DM, introduce you to that of our Dungeon of the Mad Mage. We'll be taking your plucky bunch of adventurers, each starting out at level 1. Yes, not 5, but level 1. And take them down into the Dungeon just below the yawning portal, the trip on the elevator down. Very well having the chance to be your last! The idea of this game is to be nothing more than that of a meat grinder of sorts. We're taking in plenty of people to run them down through this deadly dungeon, to encounter and travel with the various groups and factions below. Formed largely of your fellow players. You see, this game has already run once, and seven people have come to perish. Triggering traps for others, pick poor fights, the works. We're taking in as many people, having them split naturally, and as weak commoners as we all are, trying to brave and level the system. Some have found success, others, have not. How deep you go is entirely up to you, and the friends. Or enemies of the players, that you make. If you're interested in a game that really just runs whenever we've time, with quite the number of people. Where whether you're there or not basically means you're relaxing on the floor/area you left off or have a heart attack. Then send a message. Don't get attached to characters, try to have fun. And I wish you luck!
