How can I turn off playing cards?

One of my players dragged the playing cards out, and then we got into a whole thing with stealing cards from each other, which was fun for a minute or two but quickly became super annoying with all the modals popping up. How would I deactivate using cards entirely from the game? Having just signed back into the game, I see the cards still situated in the main playing space just above my avatar. I have no idea how to excise them.

As far as I know you can't delete the default pack directly.  However, you can make a copy of your game and uncheck the box to copy the cards over, which will remove them from the copy.

You can recall all the cards, and then on the Tab for Rollable Tables and Decks you can change the permissions so players can't see the cards and can't do draw from them, either. That should prevent that from happening again...

To excise the card deck, use HIDE. (temporary setting not a permanant fix) 2 ways to access Hide button --- either Mouse-Over the card deck (control-button words pop up on the left side of it), or go under Collections tab, down to Card Decks, and there will be a Hide button. Thanks for all of your responses! I had not yet figured out a way to fix this. I was able to eliminate all the cards from my "hand," but one of my player is still displaying a "hand" even though they don't have any cards in it. The players shouldn't have been able to see them, but somehow one managed to drag the default deck out and then start playing that game. Gold said: To excise the card deck, use HIDE. I remember hovering for other actions so that was one of the first things I tried, but nothing showed up when I hovered over the hands. :\ The only deck I have in there is the default one, which is already set up to not be shown (although somehow that didn't work LOL). I don't see a hide option for the default deck.
These are the settings I have. I have not changed any of these things so whatever the players did to pull the cards into the game they were able to do with these settings. Am I missing something here? LOL
Ok I guess my memory must be going in my old age because starting a new campaign I see that the default playing card deck is shown to players by default, so that must have been the issue. Now if only I could get that hand icon to go away for the players now that I've deactivated the cards... :\
