Couple looking for two more !

My girlfriend and I are looking for either a DM and another player, or two more players and he will DM. We want to connect and choose a campaign, see what the group is into and then get started 1-2x a week. We are almost always free evenings 7 days a week after 6:30 Calgary AB time. We play 5th edition! I am looking at this often, and we are motivated to play :) at this stage we are not comfortable paying for a DM service, but would be open to someone with a tipping option

I would be interested in a Monday and/or Wednesday weekly game. I've been actively playing since 4E with irl friends once per week. Not afraid to answer any questions either ^_^

@MysterB. Would you be interested in playing, or DMing? And what kind of character are you hoping to play if you are a player? So far I would we would have a potential Bard and Cleric.

Howdy! I'm Cassius a 26 year old who's interested in joining your game assuming you still have room for a new addition. I'm a fairly chill and easy going person who just wants to play and role play around people who also enjoy something similar. I can be a little serious sometimes when I get into character but otherwise I enjoy really good group dynamics and teamwork! I have about 14 years of experience role playing and playing D&D games my pathfinder 2E experience is only a couple of years though but I understand the gist of playing tabletop games for the most part. I won't be DMing (not that tech-savvy). I am going to lock down fighter. Question... character creation...  Are we rolling for stats, doing a point buy?  What books/materials can we use?  Etc.?

I think standard point array, and 5th edition books (the ones you can get physically) are all approved!

I play an rpg called Firewinds of the Seas, This game setting is pre-gunpowder with limited magic, mixed with fantasy creatures and fantasy races and you got the idea of this sea faring game, kinda like the Odyssey by Homer . You may play any race of human, Vikings, Romans, Greeks, Celts, Eygptians, Samurai, Huns, Mayans and Native Americans, Story trumps rules in my games but you may die. I understand you will be new to the game and I will not leave you in the cold and I will help you make a character.This is my custom made game system, the idea is this game system is simple to play and create a character quickly and not limit your character to a certain set of class or race abilities. Normally i play a sci-fi version of this game and I have run about 300 games with players of all ages including groups of 6th graders so I am pretty good at herding cats and welcoming new players and helping them with the rules. I also draw and scan a lot of black and white illustrations and will try to use as much original art as possible. REQUIREMENTS You must have discord audio (video prefered). . Please come with an image or token of your human character, and a name for them. A printer is recommended so you can download and/or print the free character sheet and character generation sheets at firewindsoftheseas.com or just have the pdfs to view online. There is also rules sheet and spell casting guide online as well. All dice rolls are done online so there is no cheating including my rolls. This is an open world game and there will be lots of bad guys to kill so please no murder hobos, be a hero. I also play a space-western version of this game and I animated one of my games on youtube search for "firewinds of the suns" check it out if you want to see my GMing style.

I'm a DM of 4+ years who might be interested. However, if I was to do so, I'd want to talk to the group beforehand. I'm very careful when it comes to joining pre-established groups as there are players and types of players out there I know simply don't work with me, my style and the games I create.

AJ C. if you were going to DM for us, would you want 3 players, or more?

4 is the golden number, right? Kinda sent that before I meant to... I'm happy with anything between 2 and 6. 4 is my preferred number, but I'm good wither way.
