One Sitting DND Campaign

This campaign isn't meant to become some epic character quest to save the world. This is a campaign set on turning an average NPC character into a PC character, and running through the campaign The campaign is called "Capture" as you start off as a captured human and work your way from there. Each episode can be played as a group, or individually. So there will be no waiting for players needed. I'm forcing players to rely on their wits and skill instead of magically skipping through campaigns with next to no fear of death. You will tentatively creep through dungeon halls, praying nothing hears you. You will carefully check doors and rooms, hoping nothing is trapped. Fearfully you will make your way out of your capture, because you will not have any spells to protect you. No class abilities to save you. No overpowered or minmaxed skills to glide you out. You have less than a handful of points to carefully choose with. The game is not hack and slash. It's carefully weighing options of what can you endure. Solving puzzles in the quiet corners where you hope to be hidden. You are captured, and you must make your way out.
Which edition?
I use homebrew, but mostly based off of 3.5 I've changed things a bit to include things such as Piercing/Slashing/Blunt separated armor class, and weapons that deal likewise. To give you a reason for choosing that slashing axe, or blunt mace. If you're wearing plate mail, then slashing is no problem, piercing not big, but blunt you nearly have nothing to protect you for. Likewise, padded leather is great against blunt damage, but piercing not so much, and slashing will slowly deteriorate your armor. This is one change I added. There are others.
Also you can find it by filtering with "D&D 3.5" and/or "tuesday". I added some relevant keywords to make it easier as well.
Oh, I was hoping 4E or 5. Thank and good luck with it all.
Considering you won't have any magic or toys to play with, I really doubt you'll see much of a difference.
this sounds really interesting. id like to come check it out if theres room
I am totally in for a go......if your interested in having me!
Sounds good. I need to know what time everyone would like to meet for a session. The time before was just a place holder, not an actual time.
im good when you are, dan will be here around 6pm
Alright, I'll set it for 6pm today and reserve that time. For now I will just keep working on the campaign. Go ahead and send a request to join if you haven't, and post your character in the forum post I made.
