My entire group can't post messages in chat, send dice rolls in chat, or interact with chat much at all now..... all we can do is read archives from previous sessions.
ok, if I post a message to chat, or roll from the character sheet, and then open the archives, I see the latest action listed IN THE ARCHIVES but the live chat window doesn't show any of that. and I have to refresh the archive after each post.
This sounds like it was a corrupted Chat Archive. A game's Creator is often able to fix issues with their Text Chat by clearing the Chat Archive (note: not clearing your current Chat Log ). A GM might want to copy/back up the Chat Archive before the Creator clears it.
