Story Introduction You awake to the smell of chlorine and faint dim of emergency lights kicking on. Last thing you remember you were being forced into a cryopod to serve a twenty year sleep as punishment for a crime you didn't commit. J.A.K.E., the holographic AI floating above your pod explains 85 years have passed and humanity nearly destroyed itself. You, 18 other inmates, and 10k frozen embryos are needed restart humanity on a new world. It cannot pick a destination as that is outside it's programming, but you or one of the other criminals needs to decide where to go. Earth and all of it's colonies are inhabitable, but several rogue AIs likely survived the war. It is also postulated that several terrorist factions might have survived as well by immigrating to another system. It is a minimum of eight year journey to the next star system and you are expected to stay awake for the journey. Will you assume command or let someone else? Will the crew follow each other, or kill themselves off before you arrive? All of my campaigns are open worlds/universes without a set path or predefined story arch. You can follow the hooks provided or go in a completely different direction only limited to the abilities and knowledge of your character, as well as your own imagination. This campaign will focus more on roleplaying then combat but will still contain combat scenarios whenever appropriate. We will be using the Starfinder system with magic and rift engines removed.
