Hear Ye, Hear Ye Calling All DND Players that are also Homestucks. I think it would be an interesting idea if we did a campaign with characters that were based on the characters from Homestuck. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: I am not talking about homestuck characters going to the world of DND. I am talking about using DND's character creation system to create characters based on Homestuck. There will NOT be sburb elements, So for example if you made Dave, he would be a fighter that specializes in a Katana. Not the Knight of Time. I realize that DND has a lot of limitations and you MAY not be able to create the character EXACTLY how they are in Homestuck but you can still come pretty damn close. Oh and this is meant to be a proper campaign, not just some silly bull****. Of course you CAN have silly bull**** in character, but its not the main goal. Ok Disclaimer over. The system we will be using is 3.5. We will be using a combination of skype and roll20 to correlate the campaign, and yes I will be making a group call so if talking to strangers on the internet is not your thing then please do not apply. The character level will be 8. There will be no real end to the campaign unless you guys get bored with it so there is a chance level 20 could be reached, just something to keep in the back pocket for character builds. I am on the East Coast and use EST so keep that in mind when applying. The days im shooting for are monday or wednesday. Although be warned that my work schedule may cause me to change it. I shall let you guys know if this occurs. Time is completely dependent on the rest of the group and what works for everyone. I was shooting for once a week, although if enough interest is gathered I would be more then happy to do it twice a week, or more depending on everyones schedules. You must be able to create your own character and understand the basic rules of the game. I have put together more games then I care to count where I ended up making at least one persons character sheet for them without them bothering to learn how to do it. I can offer help and advice but im not going to generate it for you. Other then that, I do not mind your experience level. If my campaign happens to be the first campaign you ever play, then I hope I can make the game enjoyable for you. If you are veteren, then I hope I do not scare you off with my inexperience as I've only Gm'd half a dozen times. I use Mythweavers for my character sheet making and I highly suggest that you do as well. My Mythweavers account is TheCrowing1432 Most 3.5 and 3.0 material is perfectly legal. However. Psionics are banned. Leadership and other stupidly abuseable feats are banned. Time Stop, Wish and other stupidly abuseable spells are banned. When in doubt, ask yourself "Could I solve most, if not all encounters with this spell/feat/ability?" if the answer is yes, then its probably banned. I am reaching for mid optimization I generally dont like banning stuff mid campaign and only prefer to do it at the start, but if something slips past my radar and constantly solves the encounters and I cant solve it in a meaningful organic way, i might just have to put my foot down and take it away. I do offer retraining of feats and abilities for free in case such a situation occurs. I am shooting for about 6 people, but I can start with as low as 4 Alright I think thats everything.
