D&D 5e Looking for players. Toy-Story Esque Political Drama

Hello, I'm a DM looking for players for an D&D Campaign that I've been brewing ever since I started D&D. I'm finally ready to take the leap and start working on it. The Campaign will most likely last 3-6 Months consisting of weekly 2-4 Hour sessions. The campaign will be set in a household where toys come to life, much like toy story, however, these toys fight for political power and control, think Game of Thrones. I'm looking for players who love this idea as much as I do and want to make the game as fun as possible. It will be fun and goofy, comedic in setting and atmosphere, but also a serious, punishing campaign where you can expect player character death and high stakes. If you need a reference for the vibe I am aiming for, I'd recommend watching a couple episode's of Dimension20's "A Crown of Candy" campaign that is free to watch on youtube. Players will vote before the campaign begins on whether or not to include a traitor in the party. 

Hello! The group I usually play 5e dnd with is ending, so I am searching for a new one. This one seems to have a creative premise and a lot of potential. I love the premise! I have played through about half of a curse of strahd campain and some one-shots. I have no idea if that is enough experience or not. some questions about the game: what times might we meet? how many players do you think there will be? what classes or races will we have or will there be guidelines or can we pick our own? Will our races be transformed into toys in the campain? Will you post anything about the basic world that the political game is set in? sorry for all the questions I am just really excited!

I love the excitement! The world will be  "low magic" (Magic will be considered "outlawed" or taboo, but does exist) and ALL magic and weapons will be "skinned" as toy things happening. For example, the Mage Hand cantrip, one of those sticky hand toys you used to be able to get out of gumball-machine like things outside of stores and restaurants. The game will be most likely start at 6-7 P.M. Central time, 7-8 Eastern. Most races will essentially be available for Stats purposes, but all players will be toys of their choice. Most classes are free and available as well, as long as we work on "Skinning" all the features as part of being whatever toy you are. Im hoping for 4-8 players.

All of that sounds great! I can make the times and I use Central time. Do we use Discord or some other way to communicate?
