You need an all-in-one, heavily discounted 5e package

By "all-in-one", I mean the player handbook updates, such as Tasha's. Buying the individual books is ridiculous. I recently subscribed (my bad), and even bought a campaign, but looking at the pricing for buying the various books... it makes more sense to  switch to Foundry VTT. Not my favorite (I prefer VTT-as-a-service), but the cost difference is enormous, and I only have to go through the learning curve once. Even better would be to link to DND Beyond. I'm not really *expecting* you will do this. In the short-term, it's clear I'm just out the money and will have to spend some more on Foundry VTT. But I doubt I'm unique in coming to that conclusion.

Prices are determined by licensing agreement between WotC and Roll20. It's unlikely Roll20 has much leeway here.
Alas for them, I guess. I already own content on D&D Beyond and I'm not buying it a third time, so.
The books here are too expensive (and buggy), I switched to buying them all on Beyond, much cheaper (especially on sale) and their charactermancer is much better.  It then gives you the ability to use the beyond20 3rd party option or synchronize with other VTT's.
Yeah, the fact that dndbeyond does have sales does help.
