" Deception is a right. Truth is a privilege. Innocence is a luxury. Born of the U.S. government’s 1928 raid on the degenerate coastal town of Innsmouth, Massachusetts, the covert agency known as Delta Green opposes the forces of darkness with honor, but without glory. Delta Green agents slip through the system, manipulating the federal bureaucracy while pushing the darkness back for another day — but often at a shattering personal cost." I'm a long time DM who's looking for 2-4 players for a Delta Green campaign. Players who are experienced with the system are prefered, but I am open to teaching new players the ropes. Looking to play either weekly or bi-weekly on any day other than Monday or Tuesday, I'm open to figure out a schedule that will work for everyone. However, for those who are only used to playing games like D&D you must understand that this is a completely different game. This is a story driven game where combat is not the focus and when it does happen is very deadly, roleplay is very important. This is an investigative adventure, where the players take on the rolls of government agents working for a conspiracy to cover up the paranormal (Think Lovecraft meets the X-files with darker tones). This is a horror campaign, where your characters are likely to die or go insane (gloriously). The Horror in this campaign is "surreal", even for those who are familiar with Call of Cthulhu the types of horrors and threats that you face here are more psychological than physical (although there is still physical danger). This campaign is set in the modern day, the starting year is 1995. We will be playing through the first chapter of the Impossible Landscapes campaign, and if everyone wants to continue we can play the remaining three chapters. The campaign book suggests 2-5 sessions per chapter. Each session will last between 3-4 hours.
