Welcome, adventurer, to the city of Thentia! A metropolis in the northern Moonsea area, Thentia is a sprawling city-state cramped between the Moonsea lake and the moorland of Thar. Unlike most of its neighboring areas, Thentia is a city that accepts all kinds of people inside its walls, becoming a haven for criminals and heroes alike. Our adventuring group is currently working for two of the numerous independent wizards of Thentia, including the most mysterious of them all: Scattercloak. No one knows Scattercloak's true nature (or if they're a wizard at all), but they're known to have hired couriers and adventurers for the most diverse tasks across Thentia, the Moonsea and beyond. The other wizard is Rilitar Shadow-Water, a moon elf who is well known in the region and has currently been investigating Scattercloak to learn their motives. Despite the unknown goals of one of their patrons, the party seeks to impact the world with good actions and tip the scales of Thentia in favor of altruism and peace (which, in a harsh land like this, must often be conquered with a hammer). They have done plenty of work already and are by no account beginners in the adventuring trade. However, more danger, adventure, treasure and the unknown lie behind the next hill! Will you join us across the ridge or wait for our safe return? Our party currently consists of: Pitac - phrenic neraph swordsage Aetoris - sun elf domain wizard (Conjuration) Marsdon - Illuskan human scout The campaign This is a homebrewn campaign set in the Moonsea region of Faerûn (Forgotten Realms setting). We recently came back from our second quest, so you'd be meeting us in Thentia for the downtime. The first adventure consisted of investigating a landmark after traces of a legend. The second was a continuation, as clues in the first dungeon pointed the characters to a place deep into the wilderness. No more than a deadly trap meant to attract ambitious explorers, the second dungeon had a little clue on another location worth checking. When they got back, Scattercloak revealed their true identity and intentions to the party. The stakes are even higher. We are currently lvl 7, so please keep that in mind if you are new to D&D 3.5, as character building can get complicated.
