Are you tired of playing in the same pre-written modules ran by Dungeon Masters on these forums? Would you like to try something different? Are you a fan of epic fantasy, and would like the opportunity for you, yourself to be a hero? In a world where adventurers can twist and change and affect the future of their joint-played world? A world where things make sense, a world with its own reality. A reality where your character will make sense, a character who is a part of this world. If you want to try your shot on a different kind of experience, this game is for YOU! Campaign Overview: Hello all, I'm Sol, I'm in my mid 20s from the UK, and I'm looking for new players for my various campaigns. I'm running a Swords & Sorcery Campaign positioned in an expansive continent named Heimland. The story is set around a magical artefact, known as the Attaraxia. This artefact was once forged by three powerful beings. An elf high priestess, a dwarven sorcerer, and a human druid. These three individuals forged this item for a purpose, the purpose being to defeat the Valorians. The Valorians, a Human Kingdom, marched their legions towards the east, squashing everything that stood in their way. They gave this artefact to the Elven Prince, Tarodun, a loyal vassal of the High King of the Elves, to fend off the advances of the enemy's relentless attack. Over time, Tarodun became corrupted by the pure power of the item, being allotted many abilities, including the power to command and control others. He became sick, evil, twisted, and his allies soon either fled or switched sides. As retribution, Tarodun made a deal with the migrating orcs from the south that if they would fight for the Elven Prince, they would be afforded all of the lands that was once owned by dwarves. This deal was signed, and the orcs waged a bloody, brutal guerilla war on all those whom opposed Tarodun. Soon they became complacent, wallowing in the spoils of the dwarven lands, and turned their back on him. He is legendary amongst the orcs, as Tarodun forced many of the leaders to continue to fight against their will, using his master weapon as a beacon of destruction for all. Tarodun's crimes were sick, as he got involved in dark rituals, blood magic, anything he could do to remain in power. During this process, he found the secret of immortality. Despite his immense power and more, Tarodun was eventually captured. A dark magic had infested his soul, one that no amount of radiant power could subdue. They encased Tarodun within a platinum sacrophogus, so he may never again wreak havoc on the world. A century later, in a time of relative peace, many folk did not have a care in the world. But, unbeknownst to them, a group of adventurers went on an expedition to his tomb and accidently awoke him from his slumber. He once again now walks amongst the living. Can Tarodun and his forces be defeated once more, or will he finally take his rightful play as King of the East? Join and become a part of legend. Game Information I currently run two games per week for 12 boys and gals. These games are on Saturdays & Sundays respectively. I'm looking to setup a Weekday Game, on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I've tried setting up a Weekday game in the past but I've had a lot of trouble finding people who are willing to commit to that schedule. I'm looking for eager, creative players, both new and veteran whom would be interested in exploring an extensively built world, and involving themselves at any capacity with my homebrew module, that two of my parties are involved in currently. We haven't decided what this new game will entail, but I think we're looking to move this group into the area with a lot of other party activity. Being the odd ones out can be a little dull, especially when my other players are all so nice and fun to roleplay with. The finer details of this campaign will be hashed out in Session Zero, but boy do I have ideas for you! When is the game being played: We haven't decided yet, we've got two players already for this game, and they both appear to be available on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, anytime during the afternoon or evening. If you can only play at a certain time or date, make sure to state that when you contact me. Thanks! How long will this game last for, maximum?: I'd say 4-6 months. My other groups have been playing already for 4 and 6 months respectively, so I'd like to wrap things up with all three parties at around the one year line. My next campaign currently is planned to be an Ancient Greek campaign, set in the Bronze Age. It'll be a change of pace for my players, but I think the idea of playing characters like Herakles, Achilles, Perseus, and Jason sounds pretty damn cool to me! When is it starting: I'm hoping to start the game officially either on the 9th or the 16th of June. That's not too far away, so best to enquire sooner rather than later to confirm your place in this game. COLLABORATION: You're not the only party in this world, this means you guys can roleplay with different players, as well as get involved in collaborative storytelling. My world is incredibly rich now after having so many people involve themselves in my world. I'd be incredibly excited to see what this fresh, weekday group could bring to the table. Players who leave, retire, or finish adventuring become NPCs in my world, which adds further flair to my stories. SANDBOX: My adventures are typically Sandbox, meaning that your decisions carry weight in the outcome of the scenarios. Sometimes I run plugin-modules from the 80s and 90s, but typically these modules just add quality and professionalism to an already interesting game. CUSTOM MAPS: I create most of my battle maps from scratch, which includes shading, hundreds of different items that can make a map feel real. I can make Dungeon Maps, Taverns, Terrain, etc. I typically don't use theatre of the mind often, unless I didn't have that exact thing ready. MUSIC: I spend a lot of time adding music to my games, and there is never silence in my games. There is always some form of ambience, or musical orchestra in my games. IMPROV: I enjoy improvising and don't mind players deviating from the story in focus of something else. I think it's always important that players get opportunities to focus on other things, which is why I give my players downtime activities regularly. These can be used to learn languages, train, carouse with NPCs, battle in the arenas, etc. NPC VOICES: I enjoy roleplaying, and I have a pretty solid voice-range that allows me to fill in a lot of different rolls. Additionally, I have a voice modulator that allows me to roleplay as Giants, Dragons, and dozens of other things. GREAT HOMEBREW RULES: I use a handful of Homebrew Rules which better shapes the joint-world we play in. These rules can be discussed when enquiring to join. Payment My games are currently priced at $15 per session with sessions lasting anywhere typically from 3 to 5 hours, depending on the player's schedules. Session Zero which includes character creation is free, but the first session you join does require payment. I do have an archive of previous sessions of how I run my games if you'd like a taster of how I play before you decide to join. I also have 12 or so players who'd be happy to share their experiences in my games with you to further your comfort. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Applying & Joining If you're interested in joining my newest campaign, make sure you meet all these requirements before reaching out to me via Discord: You are aged 18 or over. You are able to play D&D for 3-5 hours a week, at the permitted time-slots. You own a microphone of decent quality (no stutter, background noise, etc). You have a Roll20 account. You have a Discord account. If you are interested and meet our simple criteria, feel free to reach out to me via Discord: Solmund#3522

Sol is an awesome DM, and a good friend. he spends alot of time and effort behind his games. He's legit the best DM i've ever had. :) This comment was made by Sunday D&D gang
Playing in Sol's game is without a doubt the highlight of my week, He sets the mood with great music and has on multiple occassions given me an adrenaline rush from the excitement of what is happening, his world feels alive and his npcs are top notch, I will be sticking with Sol as my DM for the foreseeable future and I am already excited about the next campaign and this one isn't even over yet. Do yourself a favour and give him a shout, I promise you won't regret it. From a member of the Saturday Group.

Sol's campaigns are so powerfully immersive that the line between my real life in heimland and this 'earth' is getting really blurry. I keep catching myself daydreaming EVERY DAY about our high-magic setting of 'London', where literally everyone can use 'lightning' power to solve pretty much any problem. Imagine that, Electric wagons, electric cleaning brooms, electric messenger birds, proper crazy stuff. It's becoming a real problem, I keep imagining how to engage with the earth economy at any hour of the day and my in-world wife feels so real at times, I honestly think I hear her telling me she's sick of 'D n D' , whatever that is...
Thank you guys for posting a testimonial about my game. Hopefully we'll get this game up and going as soon as possible. The future of the world may be depending on this new group!
Sol is easily the best DM I've had, to date. In addition to what others have written I will say he's great at handling issues, does it with discretion, and keeps it in mind while moving forward. For me, that's a sign of a really cool dude with his head on straight. His application of music is tasteful, and nails the mood perfectly for whatever setting you're in. And besides great, dramatic scenes, he is also able to keep things light and fun as appropriate. The balance is very good, so if the time fits, why not have a sit, and join up?
"A Whirlwind of emotions, but in the best possible way." Sols games have been the highlight of my week for just over 3 years now. Every week i find myself wondering what crazy adventure we will be sent on. Besides the fun adventures and the great group of people you get to play with every week, Sol has a way of creating emmersive storylines and realistic NPCs (With unique voices for each of them). He has a knack for building up a whirlwind of emotions, but in the best possible way. Whilst being intense and emotional, Sols games always have a light and quite frankly, hilarious side. Theres not a session that goes by without encountering an NPC that really tickles your funny bone. Oh, and dont let the ruleset scare you, i once too was weary, but they work incredibly well, making the game that bit better! With emmersive music, maps, engaging storylines and lovable characters i can assure you this game is a must! Join the fun! :P Written by Sols favourite player (i definitley wasnt paid to write this) xD
Thank you! We're starting a small session zero right now, we've still got time to join.
Getting ready to setup my game for tomorrow. We're still looking for people for a Wednesday game, feel free to reach out if you are interested! :)
