Is there a way to have Italics text in the Game Listing?

I was typing out my listing for an upcoming paid game I intend to run, and wondered if there was a way to type part of it in italics as sort of a short story introduction to the game. Is there a way to do that? I tried enclosing the block of text with asterisks on each end, but all that did was change the font and stick that text in a box.

On the Game Overview page in the description you can use markdown formatting (enclosing a paragraph in * * to make italics for example).  I just tested and it's working for me. If that's not working for you, you could post the entire code you've using and someone might find out how to adjust it. If you're seeing a block of text, it may be that you're using blockquotes?  I can't say for sure without seeing a picture.
