Video + Voice settings do not save

Problem is that when I turn "...Broadcast to others..." and "...Receive from others" to Nothing, they both revert back to "Video and Voice" when connecting back to the campaign. Happens for both Chrome and FF. Happens regardless of how quit There are definitely times when I do not want Flash running. One is when I am playing physically side-by-side with others and use text chat only for whispering purposes. The other is on OpenSUSE where the Flash updates for the past months are full of bugs that make it unusable. If these applied settings were applied upon campaign-load, it could possibly also be used to work around the recently reported bug titled "Flash Player won't take no for an answer".
Having the same problem on Chrome 19.0.1084.56 (Official Build 140965) m, using Windows 7 SP1 x64 Ultimate Edition. Will test with version 20.0.1132.43 in a moment and report back on whether it's still a continuing problem. EDIT: Confirmed to still be nonfunctional with latest version of Chrome. Likewise, avatar size is reset to defaults as well.
I have the same issue in Firefox. If i start the campaign with no players in it, i can turn it off and when someone comes in, nothing happens but if i leave for some reason and come back i have to deal with the camera, which also keeps asking if i want to allow or deny access and if i select deny, it just keeps asking me even if i have disabled video and voice.
The ability to have video and voice settings persist between sessions is on the to-do list, so stick in there. You won't have to keep turning it off forever :)
Agree need to have persistent settings.
This would be a great thing to have updated. Until then however I may have a workaround for everyone. One of my players let me know that she was able to use Adblocker, an addon for Firefox, to persistently block the video and voice plugin in roll20 so it will not load even if her settings revert back to broadcasting all. Just wanted to let everyone else having this problem know about that workaround in the meantime.
I don't like to use adblocker, as I use many ad supported sites, but I did come here to complain about the settings not saving. Glad to see I'm not the only one who prefers not to video chat.
All 3 settings (broadcast, receive, avatar size) should now save between sessions. Should take effect the next time you change them. Thanks!
Wow, you guys have great bug turnaround! I came here because I saw it saved and I wanted to thank you for the fix, definitely much appreciated.
