Signing my GM role to another player

Hi. I recently let another player from my group take over as GM for me. Since we did not want to create a new campaign and also keep the pro features of my account, I just assigned her to be a GM. Problem is: I join the campaign as a player. But every time I connect, I am logged in as GM. That spoils me every time, since I get to see stuff I should not. Is there a way to permanently remove the owner of the campaign as a GM? And would that get rid of the paid features?

There isn't a way to do that, but you can right click the "rejoin as player" button and copy the link to get a URL you can use to always go to the game as a player. I'd just make a bookmark with that link and always join that way, then you won't get spoiled on the details.

Common issue, easy solution. When you are in game, right click on the "Join as Player" button. Bookmark that. You can enter the game directly as a player using the bookmark.I host three games in which I am a player, I have that bookmark for each one.

If you use Gmail there's a trick to use a single email address by adding a + symbol before the @ symbol, so if your regular Gmail account is JohnDoe@gmail.com you can create a second account using JohnDoe+testaccount@gmail.com and emails to both will be sent to your single email address.
