I am starting a SciFi (not fantasy) open universe space empire building campaign revolving around a group of convicts colonizing a world after an apocalyptic war. There will be uploaded intelligences, alien life, and rogue civilizations threatening your new world. This will be an on going campaign without any set path that needs to be followed in a universe that will be shaped by player decisions. The goal of this campaign is sticking as close to reality as possible by implementing technology that will likely exist in some form during this future time period. The actual time and date is still undetermined and based upon the players that join.
