Items on map layer aura won't show on top of other map layer decorations

So if i give something an aura (I wanted it to have a specific colored light so I gave it light and then added the color aura) it shows up fine until I add a decorative floor below it. I have checked and if I move it to the Token layer it will still show up just fine but I was wondering if there was something to fix this or if it was a known problem and if not bring attention too it.
As you can see the tokens (the yellow and green auras) show just fine on the tile. But the Map layer auras (Red and blue) do not show up on the tile only on the open space.

If you are using UDL on this map, you might want to add it to the UDL bug thread. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/9741240/udl-1-dot-0-updates-bugs-and-feedback Otherwise, this probably should go to a help center request, accessible from the drop down in the upper right of this page (where your user name is).
Can confirm - and it's not a UDL thing. Auras just seem to sit at the back of whatever layer they're on and get covered by anything else on that layer without honoring z-order. Presumably they assume you'll mostly be giving auras to things on the token layer, and forcing the auras to the back of that makes it a sort of extra in between layer - making it easy to blend them together and tint anything on the map, while not obscuring tokens. If you want this behavior changed, it might just need to go in the suggestion forum.

Something you might consider trying is finding a translucent token that is a very faint white. Maybe 2 of them (square and round), in case you want the different shapes. Then you should be able to use the tint color rather than aura, and they will show up as you would expect on the map layer.
