I've got the same problem, I think it has to do with compatability with the new Chrome update since the problem doesn't replicate in Firefox.

It's a known problem caused by the most recent Chrome update. There was a thread about this a month ago. A staff member from Roll20 said that a developer was looking into it, but there hasn't been any news in 3 weeks.
