The Cromwell Destruction

The party used the wand to break into the Cromwell estate. A grand melee with the Arbran cultists ensued. In the fighting, Oscar was knocked out and bonded to bracers attuned to the corrupted god, and unwillingly summoned a tornado, but through sheer willpower managed to control the turbulent winds away from his friends. Two of the mages that tried to subject him to the god's influence escaped, while a third was crushed when the estate collapsed. Lady Cromwell, the leader of the Zephyr Movement, was one of the escapees. The party then slipped around the edge of town before anyone could investigate the freak tornado, and is moving away on their cart, planning their next move.
((Just a general note as an aside, I recognize the cult plot has kinda picked up speed and as a consequence we haven't had much time for characters' personal stories for a couple adventures. I haven't forgotten them, and we should have time soon (one or two more sessions depending on your next actions) to do another round of the game forum personal exploration. Also, though I don't have a set end point in mind for the overall campaign, the cult plot was the main meat of what I anticipated for this story. After that concludes we can take a couple sessions to tie up any loose threads but that will probably be the end of the campaign. Depending on my schedule at that point I could maybe do another one but no promises because I'm probably going to start picking up more in-person play. In any event, it will take at least another couple/few months to have an approximate fix on that time.))
