Hello everyone. I am looking for 1-2 more players to join an upcoming Lyonesse campaign! You and your fellows will start as a band of adventurers near a village under the impact of a vicious curse. You will craft your own stories as you explore the Elder Isles: a world alive with ambitious monarchs, questing knights, vagabond entertainers, powerful magicians, faeries, vampires, and much much else. As GM, I hope to capture the tone of Jack Vance’s Lyonesse series which is a unique mix of dark fairy tales and whimsical humor. Some key aspects of the campaign: -Narrative-Driven -Deadly and Realistic Combat (Preparation, teamwork, and vigilance are essential!) -Realistic Party Management (things like encumbrance, exposure, and hunger will be tracked) -Player Agency (Go anywhere you like with lots of side quests to discover!) We are hoping to build a fun, relaxed, and drama-free group to explore this space. Games will be on Sundays at 7 PM PST (GMT-7) on Roll20 with Discord for voice. The Session 0 start date is TBD. We may play every Sunday or alternating Sundays depending on everyone’s schedule. The game will use the Lyonesse RPG system, which is a derivative of Mythras. Players unfamiliar with Lyonesse or Mythras are welcome! Be warned that the system is very different from 5e so you should be ready and motivated to learn! Also, there is no character creation software so you will have to put in the time to craft your character by hand.
