Somewhat experienced Pathfinder player looking for a game(Tall order inside so bare with it!)

Ok so I have been on a slight hiatus for the most part as of late, and have decided to come back to path. Several issues I have been coming across have been an issue with feeling immersed into the story world. Between groups with too many players, or players that don't get deep into roleplay or even just DM's trying to bum rush through the story and content, I always come across major issues that turn me off. So I am looking for the following in game: A decent story with alot of plot and emotion. A gm who allows and encourages outside RP (RP that's between players or just generally non plot related) A group of no bigger than 4 A group that has no issue getting into character and will generally respond to RP, whether through voice or through in game chat. I'd prefer a longer campaign so that i can feel like my character and the party has accomplished something big.(preferebly a 1-20 game) A gm who can take the players backrounds and create side quests relating to them and such. That's about it. It seems like alot, but frankly it doesn't seem like something that should be such an issue, but it is. I'm free any day except Saturdays and generally am free from 1 PM to 3 AM Central time. Thank you for reading and maybe considering. And happy gaming~!
Haven't played Pathfinder, but I'm totally on the same page as you are here, and have been since I was but a scrawny kid. I enjoy the feeling of immersion and character progression with plot and focus on roleplaying. In my experiences, many players go for the "kick in the door"-approach with cardboard cut-out quests and out of character interaction, so I'm rooting for you! Good luck finding a group, adventurer!
Still looking~
le bump
le bump again~
Keep on bumpin~
Bumping once a day is usually sufficient. As for a response, I have considered inviting you to my game. Your play style seems like it would be a good fit with my group, and the rest of your requests are also similar to what I like to play. However: Noctis L. said: groups with too many players, A group of no bigger than 4 I'd prefer a longer campaign so that i can feel like my character and the party has accomplished something big.(preferebly a 1-20 game) There are already 6 players in my group. We could use another one, as we have no rogue, but... In addition, we're about to hit level 7. You indicated you wished to start at level 1. I also do the occasional one-shot adventure, which you appear not to be interested in. Otherwise you'd already have an invite from me. Keep trying, but remember that the GM-to-player ratio here, as everywhere, is quite skewed towards the GMs. And be patient. Good luck. -Phnord
If you're willing to play a different system than Pathfinder (Namely Hero System 6th edition) I think I might be able to work something out with you. If you're interested add me on skype : Shipo4ever

<a href="https://app.roll20.net/join/307410/XmaVhA" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/join/307410/XmaVhA</a> This is the link to the Campaign Forum of our group, it will demonstrate just how deep the player's immersion is, note this is not the Link to the actual Campaign. At it's core there are 4 players. We have wanted to add a player or two, but so far none of the potential players has panned out. If you would like a chance to join this campaign post here for more details.

I'm looking for roughly the same thing for myself Noctis. I've already collected a group of four (including myself) and we're only waiting on a GM. If you like, I can keep you in mind in case for some reason the four of us can't work out a proper schedule or if we decide to have a larger group to rotate people in and out of (maybe a longer term goal). If you want to get an idea of my dedication to RP, feel free to read the walls of text my compatriots and I posted here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1027594/seasoned" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1027594/seasoned</a>... That aside, if you can join up with Ajax you'd be in good luck. I've run with Ajax before and he is top notch as a DM.
