Hi all! Really I'm just shouting into the void, hoping someone will hear. I've been playing DnD (and other games) on and off for about 10 years. For the last 6+ I have exclusively been DM for my friends, and to be honest I just want to play a little (preferably on a regular basis). Considering I've just moved cities (relocating to Johannesburg) I feel this is a great time to get back into playing online. As a player I'm super flexible and am willing to fill any role. If you need a stoic and unyielding tank - baby, I got ya. A healer, you say? Well, friend, have you heard the word of Pelor? DPS? Your enemies will burn. I don't necessarily like to optimize characters (I prefer to just have fun and do shenanigans), but if that's your vibe I'm happy to fit in. I am also willing to play under other time zones (so long as it isn't something ridiculous like a 1AM start on my side). As a person, I'm creative, agreeable and funny (I think so, anyway) - and will get on with almost anyone. I'm 28, part of the alphabet gang, and wasting away in a thankless job (while attempting to complete a PHD in Media and Cultural Studies). Yay me. Given I've done my time as a DM, I am not willing to pay for any DM services (though I'm comfortable with the opportunity to tip). So please don't advertise here, I'd rather chew off my own arm than cough up R200 a session. No judgement - whatever pays them bills - I'm sure you're amazing at it - it's just not for me. All the best, Warwick.
