[LFP][Free][Every Other Sunday 1500 GMT] Darklight - 5e D&D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b0rAFfIizg The sun has long since expired. The surface world is now a frozen wasteland where unknown horrors lurk and those that can withstand the endless tundras rule supreme as creatures of the night. Few places remain to suit the needs of the fragile peoples who once ruled over a century before, all of which are far below the desolate wastes of the surface. The city of Vuldeim is one of the few remaining vestiges of mortals, standing against what is certainly a bleak and doomed future. Recent events dictate that even it may fall, like so many others before it. You are one of many who venture outside of the city limits, braving the darkness of the Underworld. Through your expertise in such a dangerous environment, you manage to make a living and even bring a little more hope to the dwindling population of Vuldeim. This campaign is specifically designed to be a continuity style with a gratuitous amount of side quests, but the majority of it was created to have an overlying story arc to it. The way it was built is to allow for large scale exploration (Almost every area has a map associated with it, roughly seventy areas), but every place is also already fleshed out with monsters, npcs, and challenges that may not fit your party's level. If you enjoy lore, building your character with the story, and digging deeper into a vexing mystery, this might just be the game for you. It includes over 200 artscreens and handouts, a very large array of monsters and npcs (upwards of 300 pre-generated creatures and people), and unique homebrew content. This is a long term campaign that will take an extensive period of time to play through. I will be running this game with 5 players who have been with me for over 3 years now at this point. We're in the middle of looking for two more players who are down to make a fairly large commitment of playing once every two weeks on Sundays at 1700 GMT. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/295277/darklight 1+ week bump. 2+ week bump (In roughly a week, I'll be grabbing people to play so there is still time to apply.) Will be withdrawing the ability to make applications on this upcoming Sunday (The 18th). Will be picking from the board of applications with my current players to grab 2-3 more players to join us.
.
Hi, this sounds interesting. My name's Ian, I played various different RPGs from about 7 or 8 to mid 20s and then stopped due to a moving to a different city but picked up again with D&D 5e around 3-4 years ago. We play every fortnight on Firday evenings, but I would like to do more and looking for a campaign that's long term and this sounds like it would be good.
Np Ian. So you don't get lost in the mix, I suggest applying on the board ( https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/295277/darklight ). I'm a big fan of veterans and new players alike, so feel free to get creative with a character and we'll see what happens!
Thanks, I'll knock something up after some sleep and post my application as requested.
Would love to be able to join. If you still have room available, you can reach out to me on discord (CareBear93#7414). We can get together and I can pitch ideas for a player that will fit nicely with your current party make-up.
2 week bump
