How to format (bold, italics, lists, colors) in spell cards?

Greetings I'm fairly new and still learning alot about roll20. As a DM, I'm using some custom spells and traits. In Roll20, they seem to be using "spell card" format. My question(s): Is it possible to use formatting like bold, italics, lists and text colors in those spell cards? If yes, how can I do this? Thank you in advance Kind regards Sacra

markdown : <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Macro_Guide#Markdown" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Macro_Guide#Markdown</a> it might be possible to to do html, but if it is, that would render the text kinda hard to read if you check the info on the character sheet How to use HTML Styles in chat

Depending on the field, yes. The description fields usually accept standard markdown notation (familiar to you if you use Discord): *italic* **bold** **bold italic** You might need to experiment for lists; I've never tried. Colors are not supported, though there are some tricks if it is important.
Italics don't seem to work in the spell cards:
It seems to be working for me:
Ah, if you link them in chat yes, but it doesn't seem to work in the card itself when viewing it, which is what I'm trying to do.

Yeah, that's what I thought, unfortunately. Thanks for the help though. Kind regards Sacra

Ah, I understand the request better. Yeah, no manual text formatting anywhere on a character sheet to my knowledge.

Format within inputs on the sheet would have to be part of character sheet code.
Couldn't find the answer to this question anywhere, thanks for sharing!
