[D&D 5E by Roll20] Is there a resource for generic NPCs?

I have the Monster Manual as a purchased addon, and I have figured out how to drag a monster into the map and have it have a character sheet (hooray!). Is there a way to have generic "level 5 cleric" (for example) and drag that into the map? I am willing to buy a "rogue's gallery" sort of addon, if that's required. Thank you.

For anything outside of SRD options, that would require a license from WotC. And using PC builds for NPCs doesn't seem to be their design goal with this edition. I think the closest thing would be the NPC statblocks that have appeared in the back of several books: Monster Manual, Xanathar's and probably others.

I don't care how they are written up. My goal is to be able to drag an NPC from the compendium into the map, and then be able to move the NPC's token around and be able to click their abilities and have them roll to attack and so forth.

I see. I think as long as you didn't care about modeling subclasses, and just build using SRD rules, such a product could be made. Searching the marketplace on "NPC" and either "addons" or "Monsters" doesn't yield any useful hits. It seems like it would be a high demand product, though.
The NPCs in the back of the MM are meant for what you are looking for, example, the Priest is a level 5 cleric. When you drag it out from the compendium, a character sheet is created if you don't already have a character named Priest (as an example). You can also tweak the NPC to your liking. As a pro, you have access to the API and there is a wonderful script by Keithcurtis for creating Token action buttons so you don't even need to open the sheet to make the rolls.

It would be handy to have various levels, though. Statting out a character takes me hours, and I would love if there was some way to avoid that for several NPCs in every game session.

I don't play 5E, so don't own any of the paid content.  In a test game, there seems to be a smattering of similar type npcs that are not all the same level.  There might be more of these from purchased content, but I don't know if you can really sort to find them.  You may end up needing to scroll down your list and see what is available.  It might be easiest to just find one that is somewhat close and edit it from there.  From what I can see, the srd includes: Acolyte Archmage Assassin Bandit Bandit Captain Berserker Commoner Cult Fanatic Cultist Druid Gladiator Guard Knight Mage Noble Priest Scout Spy Thug Veteran They are scattered through the levels.  I didn't look at them all, but they start out at the bottom and the highest I looked at was the archmage as a level 18 caster.  Content outside the srd might give you access to more options.
