GM LF3Players D&D 5e, Lost Mine of Phandelver, Tues 7PM EST

I'm looking for experienced roleplayers to fill 3 or 4 spots in my upcoming campaign. It will be D&D 5e. The first session will be next Tuesday, July 22nd at 6:00 EST and will most likely remain that same date/time going forward. I encourage heavy roleplaying, so rollplayers need not apply. I'm interested in RP'ers that love creating story and character immersion, not just hack n' slash. We will be using the Basic D&D rules exclusively until the Advanced D&D rules are published. For this campaign, there will be four adventurers and I'm sticking with the cliche race/class combinations. I have a Dwarf Fighter already, but am looking for a Halfling Rogue, Elf Mage, and Human Cleric. Ultimately: I'm looking for players that want to invest time in their characters. As a DM, I love to invest my time into storytelling and its refreshing to see that mirrored in the players. I'm not the kind of DM that actively seeks your character's death. Although characters can suffer fatal consequences, I WANT your characters to succeed and become every bit the hero you envision them to be. -Voice required; video optional. -Primarily use roll20, but have Skype as back-up -Mature (this connotes 18+, but it's not necessary)
Hi Julia, I would love to play by your side trough this campaign, i am an expierenced player and love to roleplay, its what makes every game unique. I would like to play the human clerique as a really shy and timid girl that was sent out by her wealthy family (the finer details will folow later). So yeah, it would be a blast if you could join. Oh yeah i'm 20 if you would want to know it.
Hey, I'm fairly experienced roleplayer looking to join if you still have spots open. Seeing as I've been into table top gaming for almost five years now and the roleplaying was always the most memorable aspect, a game with heavy roleplaying would just be the bees knees for me. Though I'm fine with playing any role given to me I'd love to play the Elf Mage if possible as magic is always my favorite part of a fantasy universe. I don't know if you're using premade back stories for any of the characters, but I'm willing to write a very detailed one should the need arise. And I guess I should say that I'm eighteen years old. So hopefully being too young won't be a problem.
I would also like to get in on this game should you still have spots open. I would like to play the cleric if possible but I am willing to fill any role. I have experience with 5th edition as I currently play in a 5th edition homebrew game as a fighter (podcast of the game found here ). Been playing for a long time and I prefer to roleplay than rollplay.
Hey, I'm a well seasoned roleplayer interested in joining. I've been playing table top games for about 2 years but not 2 years straight because of real life stuff. Most of the games I've been in had a nice balance of roleplaying and combat but I would really look forward to playing a roleplay heavy campaign. I love playing as halfling rogues and I can wright a deep back story if needed. I'm sixteen years old so I hope that it won't be too much of a problem. I have Skype (and a webcam if needed.) so voice chat won't be a problem.
Hi, if one of the other players fall away, I'd like to join. I've played a lot of mage/wizard characters recently so I'd prefer something else. I'd like to play a character with a tragic theme and conflict with the 'powers' of Waterdeep (I'm not that savvy with Waterdeep'ian lore) in anticipation of the forthcoming adventures. I'm a 10+ year player / DM in California. I'm happy to contribute to payment for subscriptions/materials.
I would also be interested in joining. I have lots of player/dm experience in 2e/3.5e/4e/Pathfinder but haven't tried 5e/NEXT yet (I've read the new rules though). I'm happy to play whatever character the group needs for balance (the human cleric role looks fun).
