The year is 898.945.M41 and Viceroy Whittaker Louis Grinnen Marchall The Third is dying. The aged lord of the Whittaker dynasty is at the end of what Imperial medical science can sustain; and so he has summoned what remains of his once glorious house to his bedside.  Upon his wish, the house has came to the Calixus Sector, a family of Rogue-Traders with a legacy that stretches back to the original founding Dynasties of Earth. With a fleet that once could block the sun of an entire world they are now reduced to nothing but a shadow of their former selves, and yet they still answer the call of The Race. This shadowy, ancient tradition that pits his scion sons against one another in a race to find the hidden Warrant has by many been deemed the reason for the family's downfall, whatever the circumstances it now falls to you, a young captain and a handful of loyal servants to rise to the challenge.  As the galaxy burns, you must muster your courage and stand tall under the ever watchful gaze of The God Emperor. In this dark age you must prove yourself worthy to carry on your dynasty's legacy.  But remember; not everything is as it seems and in the crack between the stars ancient voices whisper of tales best forgotten by mortal men.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome Explorers!  **What is this?** This is a Warhammer 40k RPG game that will be run using the Rogue Trader supplement of the FFG series books. (PDFs are available) with some homebrew rules incorporated from later editions & alternative settings (only war, dark heresy .. etc)  You'll be playing as a Rogue Trader and his valiant crew of powerful Imperial lords. Expect high-stakes, high powered games with command over a starship of thousands of crew. The campaign will take you Rogue Trader Scion all the way to legends of the Imperium (or perhaps, a much darker legacy)  **What kind of characters are allowed?** You'll be playing as part of an Ancient house with old contacts, there is a lot of possibilities with characters and I am open to everything from Freeblades to Sisters of Battle, provided you have a reasonable excuse to join with the Dynasty's efforts.  One of the players will be playing as the Captain, but a Rogue Trader is nothing without powerful allies so you can all expect to be shakers and movers in Imperial society. (if you so wish) **What books are allowed?** Pretty much all of them!  **Who are you?** Ferlond's the name! I've been a GM for over a decade, about half that time professionally in different aspects, you can expect on-time sessions, plenty of handouts and a keen ear for player requests. I've got experiance of 8+ year long campaigns of Rogue Trader. **Why Pay-To-Play?** Cards on the table? I am a teacher student and Corona screwed over my summer work plans. I usually do professional GMing at my local friendly gamestore but with restrictions that's a no-go. So, figured I'd try and market my skills to Roll20! The money I get from this goes directly to keeping me with groceries.    **Are the time set in stone?** I am currently on GMT+2 time, most weekdays around 8 (my time) and weekends after (18) is going to be possible, depending on what the group wants. Hit me up with your avaliable times and we'll see if I can't work something out.   This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of 15 Euro Per session paid via Paypal on a per session basis. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
