Dynamic Lighting - Dungeons and Degens - How did DM RikuD20 do that?

Dynamic Lighting - Dungeons and Degens - How did DM RikuD20 do that? Hey guys, I have watched Dungeons & Degens with the DM RikuD20, Asmongold, Rich and Mcconnel (who are awesome!), and there was one Lighting effect that stunned me. I simply do not know how he did it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juta33anVgQ&ab_channel=AsmongoldTV Timestamp: 1 hour, 9 minutes, and 16 seconds into the video the Lighting switch happens. There is magical darkness surrounding them. Ok. not so difficult so far. BUT, everything that is outside of the circle becomes dark, except for the map that they are on. So you still see the ship, but not the tokens etc. Does anyone know how he did that? Thank you very much in advance for helping/looking into this Take care, cheers Monstro

If they are using UDL, it looks like Explorer Mode was turned on and the screen is showing the central token's vision. If LDL, same but using Advanced Fog of War. The entire map was "explored" prior to the scene (by the GM "exploring" it with that token ahead of time).
Ah ok, that could explain it. Thank you very much for your reply :-)
