A book, a treasure map, and a destination far from civilization are the components of a great adventure, and they are waiting for you! Book of the Raven is a one-shot adventure from Candlekeep Mysteries designed for characters of third level. I expect we should be able to complete the adventure in about 3-4 hours. We'll be using the Roll20 VTT, and either the Roll20 voice/video chat, or zoom. Cameras are encouraged, but certainly not required for play. In order to maximize the amount of playable time we have and get the most of the story, we will be able to accommodate 4 players. If you are interested in playing, please let me know on or before August 1. From August 1 to August 7, I will help coordinate the character concepts and bring the group to the starting point of the adventure; we can then hit the ground running. Familiarity with the Dungeons and Dragons 5e rules set is preferred, but the game will be accessible to new players as well. I am more than happy to help build characters, and can provide pre-generated characters if that is your preference. Horror warning: The Book of the Raven is a horror-genre adventure. As such, there may be topics that could lead to discomfort. Part of the reason for wanting to get things set up no later than August 1 is to ensure that everyone is aware of the lines and veils that we will employ in the game, and to determine what areas may make players uncomfortable.
