[LFDM][5E] Four Dedicated players looking for a DM to start a long-term role-play heavy table.

What we are looking for: Hello! Thank you for checking out our post. We are looking for an experienced or semi-experienced DM who would like to start a long-term game with either a module or homebrew content. I have the Curse of Strahd and Lost Mine of Phandelver modules if you would like to DM one of those. If you would like to DM a different module - I would be willing to send you some cash to purchase it on Roll20 or I will purchase it myself and make you the DM. We prefer DMs who like to add their own spin to modules and promote players to try things out in more of an open-world way or can improvise well. Bonus points if you like to add voices to characters, play music during the session, or add sound effects. Who we are We actually met about 3 weeks ago (as strangers) after interviewing with a previous DM. We had two really great sessions and then our DM didn't show up to our last game. We waited a week hoping for him to come back... but alas he did not. We can only hope he is doing okay. We decided we enjoyed playing together so we wanted to continue! We like a fairly balanced game of role-play and combat. We are probably leaning a little bit more toward role-play but I would say a 60/40 split of RP/combat. We all like to create backstories and persona's for our characters and role-play most experiences in-game and interact with each other. In the two sessions that we had - 3 of the players used accents for their characters. Conclusion Hopefully, that gives you an idea of what we are looking for. We were playing on Thursday nights from 8:00 pm EST - 11:00 pm EST. We would like to continue at that time. Please respond to the post below with the following format to apply. Thank you. What do you like about D&D?: How long have you played D&D?: What is your experience and comfort level with DMing? Any questions?
We are still looking. Let me know if you are interested.
First off, I AM WANTING A WEEKDAY REGULAR SESSION ONE LOVE ONE LOVE PICK ME LOL!!! I am pst so that puts me at 5pm for your 8pm session wants. I run and play weekend sessions fully for personal friends, random one offs and I play in a game with my Female Goblin Barbarian who walks the Path of Wild Magic. Her name is Morowa Bouldercrack and she is a NPC in my campaign, Ever Realm. A lost, abandoned female goblin warrior befriended by a compassionate Dwarf. She fought with him in many Dwarven battles. Originally called Morowa by Goblins, but because of her RAGE, great tactical prowess and allegiance to the Dwarven Kingdom, the soft hearted Dwarves let her take the last name of her Dwarven friend, becoming MOROWA BOULDERCRACK Here is a link to give you an idea of what I put into my adventures, along with theater of the mind images, explanations and music. I am not a voice actor, but I do give descriptive dialog and change my voice to my basic skill sets. I do video and sound engineering so for me its simple to add more effects. I also do playlists of players favorite songs. So if I am given a list of songs, you will here them through out adventures, mixed in with environmental music I play in Roll20, but using Discord for our video/audio communication. My Rick and Morty link https://youtu.be/QhgcVav6n_Q lets get shwifty lol!!! EXP!!!!! Been playing since I was 7, DMing since I was 13 and I am 45 but look really young as in late 20's early 30's. I am young at heart and outdoorsies active and very creative. My comfort level is very accepting, but I do not allow hate, abusive shit or weird shit. I wont put up with abusing players ideas or ways of playing. We are all different, but can have so much fun together!! We can still talk shit and have fun, make fun of each other in game as long as its not fucked up B.S. (you know what I mean). Here is the simplistic overview of my Ever Realm. Ever Realm is a world for the creature kind. To the East lives man, in the West lives the creature kind... That does not mean there is not either kind in each direction, just that each has dominated those specific areas. To the West further, is the Shackles, the realm of Pirates and those that make their own laws, rules not controlled by major factions and armies. Man is constantly trying to move further into the West through trade and some by force. The first major attempt by man to move heavily into the West lead to the destruction of the only human city there and halted the second ones growth. This initiated a war between Werewolves and the West. The Dwarves joined this war and ultimately saved as many as they could from the city while helping the Kobolds and Goblins led by Wogar the x Orc Conqueror fight the many Wolfen Clans. Many adventurers joined to help and in the end the City was smite, the Sun destroyed, the Dwarves gone and no presence of the Werewolf clans. A Goddess gave up her essence and fused with the Moon. The moon became stronger. This supports life now. The climate is cool to cold and for 3 months a comet passes over head creating the Shinning, much like a softer summer. The moon is not as bright as the sun was, but it shines more than enough for all to function and live. Imagine seeing a world in twilight, moon colors with blues and purples. (I use the Grim Hollow campaign setting by Ghostfire gaming to fill my realm up more.) The God's are dead. Only their 7 Arch Seraphs and 7 Arch Daemons live and rule Rule Ever Realm. The gods died fighting the Eldritch Beings and themselves for domination. Other pantheons can be used in my campaign and any benefits they give are amplified because they expect you to spread their beliefs in this godless realm dominated by the 7 and 7, but any outside Deities do not have dominion, because of the Seraphs and Daemons. There is more Lore and I have it posted in the Discord along with pdf's I can send to those that want more details. I like to keep it simple and fun though, slowly introducing lore here and there. I like a deep fantasy feel to my adventures so they gear more towards creature civilizations. Picture Christmas, Halloween, Darker and more Grim feeling with amazing Hero's of all types. I have a Port City owned by a Treant and ran by a brother and sister Minotaur team. People can play humans and there is no issue, in fact I have had 6 humans played. You will more likely deal with a Turtle Noble in my world, rabbits who are monks, goblins who are friendly, rum gremlins that want to eat you, and a Pirate Witch that the realm fears, unless you decide to make characters that work for her, but then you will be as vile as her. WOGAR The x Orc Conqueror. He left the Orc warband because he did not agree with their beliefs in conquer. He survived alone for years in hiding until he met a company of Kobolds and Goblins working together. He helped them build a Hamlet with a kobold that turned into a thriving city. They eventually built GobYib together, a city of goblins and kobolds. Wogar realized he needed to hide his identity from the Orc warbands, so he took on the identity of a female Orc. He now runs GobYip from his fantastic tavern as Mayor of a town of Goblins and Kobolds!
