DATE: Every Thursday TIME: 7PM EASTERN (Canada, Ontario) START: Depends on how many players I can get and how fast
the roster fills up. If it does fast enough, very soon! PLAYERS: Only those committed to learning a new game and
having fun! CAMPAIGN SETTING: Heroes that have lost a battle of hell,
sent back in time to correct that mistake. FORMAT: Roll20 and Discord (For chat) Hello everyone. I have been a GM for over 20 years. I have done Rifts and
D&D. Most recently I have and still continue to GM D&D 5E. I had an 11 year stretch where I GM’d Rifts. A Palladium
Books game system, however, this wasn’t the strict game itself. You see I took
the battle system and then created (Homebrewed) 30 classes and 10 races within
a homebrewed universe. With worlds like Sherru, The Chill Lands, and others
that have been updated, it grew into its own thing. Playing with a group of 6
players at different times, they all really got into the game. Most looked at
it like a Warhammer battle system of sorts. I guess that is true. Now, cutting to the chase, I am looking for a few good
players that are invested into learning and playing the modified Rifts system. To give you an idea of the game itself, it is a D20 system
with percentile rolls. There is no AC, there are defensive rolls in combat.
Skills are based around percentile to succeed or fail. Magic or Psychic
abilities go by a mana pool. (PPE is the mana pool of points, where psychic is
called ISP.) Think of your RPG video game, where you use a spell, subtracting
its cost from your mana points. Of course like HP, these recharge over time.
Speaking of HP, Rifts has a 3 tier damage system. Whenever you are struck in
combat, damage goes in this order: Armor first (Uses AP or Armor Points and has different parts
of that armor. Head, arms, legs, ect.) SDC (This is considered an invisible Hero armor.) Think of
John Wayne walking into a bar full of 6 tough bad guys. They attack him as Wayne
brushes off those punches and then he shines. Once the SDC is gone, then damage
goes to HP.) HP – Your standard health, once dropping to 0, the character
becomes unconscious. Now, as for the rest of the rules, that will be done in a
tutorial done by me. Session 0 will be a sort of class in session. Teaching and
learning the system. The players I am looking for are at least 3-4 players.
Currently have 2, and would love to have a group of at least 6.
If interested to learn a new game, text me.
