Welcome to Baldur's Gate, a city of ambition and corruption. You’ve just started your adventuring career, but already find yourself embroiled in a plot that sprawls from the shadows of Baldur's Gate to the front lines of the planes-spanning Blood War! Do you have what it takes to turn infernal war machines and nefarious contracts against the archdevil Zariel and her diabolical hordes? And can you ever hope to find your way home safely when pitted against the infinite evils of the Nine Hells? This will be a weekly game of D&D 5E. We will use Discord for voice chat and between game communication. We will use roll20 for maps, character sheets and record keeping. You are free to use D&D Beyond with the Beyond20 app if you like. I will keep a copy of your character in roll20 so that the tokens will work with all of the in game macros. Knowledge of Roll20 and Discord are not required to join and I can help you get accustomed to the interface during session zero. Previous experience with D&D is likewise not necessary as we will be starting at 1st level, so this would be a perfect time to learn the game. Regular attendance is required.
