Hello there, I'm Paul and I'm looking for one or maybe two more players to join our Wednesday night campaign. We are a group of three with a good mix of experience and newer players. Everyone is over 18 and we are LGBT friendly. Although, none of us are personally LGBT. However, one the players who had to leave the group was. So we are a welcoming bunch.
Lore/Plot:
The
players are working for Captain Vaskell and the Sorceress to the King
of Ardavan. An elven woman called Deryn who has hired the party to
track down a renegade Tabaxi who had been murdering nobles. This in
turn lead to the revelation of a deep shadowy conspiracy.
A
group known as the 6 are attempting to revive an evil necromancer
known as Arram.
In
order to stop the group from resurrecting him. The party have to
track down six crystals and destroy them in the place where Arram
himself was once killed. Deep within the mountains of the Northern
Republic.
The
party has found 1 of the 6 crystals. However they have lost 2 of the
crystals into an interdimensional portal. In recent sessions they
have been trying to relieve the curse which afflicted two characters
and saved one of the player character's fathers from becoming a
willing acolyte of the Dark Lord.
(Note:
There is much more to the lore and story but for brevity reasons. I
kept it short. Should you choose to join. I will provide a much more
detailed lore and background to what is happening in the World)
The
rest of the group:
The
group is made up of a human fighter, a Hag Wizard, and a half-orc
Bard/Barbarian cross class who are all at level 11. They are a laid
back group who are focused mainly on fun and we'd really like to find
people who fit our play style. It is because of this I am going to
ask any potential players to fill out a questionnaire which will help
us find the best fit for our party.
Time/Schedule/Rules:
Wednesday's
Weekly 8pm EST Length 3-4 hours 1-2 players I'm looking to run a
respectful but fun game. LGBTQ friendly. All people are welcome, no
matter their gender or orientation. The game will be run via Roll20
with Discord for Voice chat and is a decent mix of RP and Combat.
Level 11 introduction, 1 uncommon magic item, Opening Stats will be
determined by point buy, All standard races and classes are
acceptable.
I
also currently stream the campaign via twitch. However, it is just
the game screen and the audio of us playing. If you still want to
play and are uncomfortable with the streaming. I am cool with not
streaming the campaign. My 9 twitch followers who are mostly players
will not mind. :D
Me
as a DM:
I'm
generally very laid back as a DM. I'm not a rules lawyer and don't
like power play much. Rule of cool over rule of law. I try to roll
with a mix of combat and rp. Combat should be fun and challenging but
RP should be just as engaging and fun
