Something evil is trapping the souls of the dead and draining life from all who have been raised from death by magic. This worldwide "death curse" not only prevents the raising of the dead but also causes creatures that were previously raised from the dead to wither and die. The source of this death curse supposedly lies in the depths of a vast jungle peninsula in Chult, in the Forgotten Realms. Chult is a tropical wilderness composed mostly of jungles, plateaus, impassable mountains, and belching volcanoes. The Campaign System: D&D 5E Length: Long Campaign Setting: Forgotten Realms Starting Level: Lvl 2 Character creation: PHB, XGtE, and TCoE Party Size: 4-6 Schedule: Sundays, 5PM CST Fee: $15 / person / session via PayPal Start date: August 14th or 21st, 2021. Welcome, thanks for your interest in my game! Since Tomb of Annihilation is a long-running campaign, commitment is key. This game can probably run anywhere between 24-72 sessions . The adventure is designed to begin with a party of four to six 1st-level characters, who should advance to 11th level or higher by the adventure's conclusion. We’ll have a relaxed environment and game, at a pace that suits the party best. It’ll include exciting combat, interesting roleplay encounters and adventuring and exploration. The rules for our game are stated below, but, simply, **don’t be an asshole, enjoy the game and let others do so, too**. This game would require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $15 per person, per session, via PayPal. Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Please comment here or message me on Discord at Castazzar#8217, to put in an application for the game. What I offer Consistency. Upon agreeing on a day and time, you can expect our games to run consistently on the agreed schedule. Any changes will be discussed among the group and decided upon convenience for all members. Customization. The campaign we’ll engage in, will be tailored to fit your characters and the party, as well as the group’s playstyle and interests. Even when I mostly play by the book, I’ll work the background and timing behind all encounters to give you a greater feeling of involvement. Going beyond the Hardcover. I offer my players the possibility to go beyond the adventure as published, adding and exploring side quests, other adventure modules or using supplements to augment the experience provided. Sandboxy feeling . I’m not big on “railroading” adventures, maybe because I’ve always loved open worlds and, since, I enjoy the possibility of players defining their approach to the adventure and the life route after it. Time and dedication. I love this game, and more than just money, I invest great time on it. I constantly find myself, if not reading an adventure or doing prep-work for game sessions, checking and reading the core books, watching videos or looking up new contents to expand my library and ideas to bring into my games. Compendium Content. Players will get access to sourcebooks, character options, items, and others via the Compendium section. Character creation and level up using the charactermancer becomes a breeze. Easy-going learning atmosphere. I really enjoy introducing people to the hobby and explaining the game as clearly as I possibly can, so new players are perfectly welcome and will be prioritized when reviewing applications. We’ll make sure both DM and the more experienced players in the group help new players to learn the ropes of the game. What I expect Dedicated and open-minded players who are willing to commit to their characters, the game and our group. I expect you all to invest time to learn the game, its mechanics and rules, especially those related to your characters - not experts, just people with real interest. We’ll base our game on trust and an honor system, I expect everyone to be true to this. Most of the time we’ll play using the Rules as Written (RAW) and, eventually, Rules as Intended (RAI). There will be NO PvP in our games, at least not without consent due to prior discussion. Being murder hobos, excessive metagaming and lack of seriousness are all best left out of the table. Thanks for reading! Please feel free to shoot me contact me if you have interest in the game or any further doubts, questions and/or comments. I look forward to embarking on our journey soon!
