[Interest Check][LFG][PTU][Sunday][Evening]Pokemon Tabletop United Game

It's going to be taking place in Unova, but think 1920s New York. The setting will be pretty gritty('mon death almost gauranteed), taking place before league rules were fully established and really focusing on the dark "dog-fighting" aspect of pokemon with an early version of Plasma(pre-Ghetsis) showing up sporadically.
Sounds like it'd be really interesting! Assuming there's enough people, I hope I'll be able to participate
I am interested in this. I will throw my hat in.
I love the idea. Reminds me of this comic. How difficult is it to learn the system? I've seen it around before and have the books. Haven't been able to read through yet.
I'd be way interested.
Posting again to answer Mach's question: PTU isn't super difficult. From what experience I have, if you've played D&D, Pathfinder, or any games from White Wolf it should be fairly familiar to you. That said, reading the Core book is almost mandatory if you want to understand the system. I've seen players simply not read the book, and then be left totally confused during the game.
That was awesome, Mach, thank you for linking that comic. Also, it is imperative you read through the core book. But it is very easy to pick up.
Yeah, I've had it sitting there for a while now. Been getting back into tabletop and PTU looks really interesting. I'll definitely read it through. The comic is awesome, isn't it? I wish the guy made more!
