Intro Out in the icy northern oceans lies a hidden gem. A place spoken of only by drunken sailors enjoying foreign ports, and by lost wandering madmen, wailing to anyone unfortunate enough to lend an ear to their misery. Each tells a tale of a distant shore rich with resources. An entire continent where gold and silver are as common as iron, where minerals and metals known only by the gods lie waiting, and fearsome beasts jealously guard it all. The legendary land of Ozarath. Defying all belief, five years ago cartographers returned home to their respective empires, with not only evidence of this mythical land, but directions. Ships set sail for fortune and glory, each bringing people, livestock, supplies to start a settlement, and you. Now, five years of hard work have flown by, and the once empty plot you came ashore upon is now the small town of Riker's Point, funded by a powerful mining guild. The promises of bounty proved to be true, but the land itself proved to be inhospitable. Farms failed, and with them, the livestock died; making Riker's Point almost entirely dependent on supplies from the mainland. The winter months are just around the corner, and the trade vessel from home missed its deadline yesterday. It will be fine... won't it? Do you have what it takes to survive the frozen north and it's secrets, or will you succumb to death's cold embrace? About the Game The game is set in a unique fantasy world with lots of opportunities for RP I plan to run the game on Fridays 9:30 PST. Occasionally we may skip a week or two for either preparation or real-life stuff, you know how it goes. Sessions will last 2-4 hours using Roll20 for the game and Discord for voice. Video is not required. We are looking for 1 more player to round out the group. Any class is welcome, your character will be starting level 1. About Me I'm a 26-year-old guy, whose been playing the game since I was 10. My parents got me into the game and I've never really grown out of it. I'm looking for new people to play with after this long stay inside. I love fantasy, scify, some anime, and obviously roleplay games. Policies Friendly to all players and experience levels. We try to maintain a safe space for players so people don't feel uncomfortable as we play, and are always open to working to improve if we don't live up to the expectation.
