Add option to make a token represent multiple characters

For things like overland maps fog of war it would be nice to be able to be able to have a token represent multiple characters (like a whole party or a couple players). Currently its hard to do this kind of map/exploration since if a player misses a session they don't see the explored areas from that session etc. It would also be good for using dynamic lighting in a simpler way where each player does not need to have their own token, or if you have team based games or similar situations. I'm sure there are other cases where this would be useful.
As a workaround, can you make a dummy character sheet assigned to every player and use that sheet's token as party token? Because everyone has permissions to that sheet, anyone can move it and everyone should be able to see explored areas later on?

I'd like to avoid having everyone be able to move the token(s). I did test this with giving control of the token to all players but they inevitably drag it around and expose areas of the map they haven't seen.
Similar to this, what I'd like is to be able to assign multiple pieces of token art to the same token. Like say you had one with armor, and another without, it would be great to be able to toggle between them somehow

Well hopefully no one thinks that this unrelated comment and its resolution in anyway resolves my initial request. I would still like to be able to assign visibility properties of a token to a group without giving them all edit rights. If you want to do something else that's not this please open a different request.
