Hi there. I'm hoping to join a VtM game with Revised/V20 systems (I prefer at least using Revised's lore). Let me be upfront: I have a fairly particular (and apparently uncommon) respect for the setting and thematic inspirations that most people do not seem to grasp. I do not play VtM to play shitty self inserts or explore asinine concepts that do not fit with the game's tone. I first got into Vampire through the video game, Bloodlines. I feel that game PERFECTLY captured the Vampire experience and is a role model for how the game should be represented. I believe games that remove elements such as Gehenna's approach and the gothic punk theme embedded within the 90's/early 2000's miss out on a great part of the game's potential and value. That being said, I hope you'll understand what kind of player I am. This isn't to say I'm a rules/lore lawyer as I do understand that for the sake of narrative liberties must sometimes be taken. I have just encountered too many games that are filled with players who play VtM for the wrong reasons, and I do not wish to leave room for doubt. As for myself, I enjoy dark humor and writing up interesting character concepts that I've been wanting to explore. I try to keep it serious when in-game, but will not shy away from cracking a joke or two in the spirit of good fun. My timezone is PST, and I am available on all days except Monday and Thursday. Hopefully, this site still has a few good ST's roaming around the ether who'd be down to run a game.
