Heyo, System: familiar with 5e, open to learning others Experience: Some-what new, but this manifests more in my lack of lore-knowledge of the various settings. I'm very comfortable with the mechanics and don't need hand-holding for making a character or running one. Availability: Monday-Thursday between 7 PM- 1 AM CST, Saturday-Sunday 11-7 CST (as blocks including start and end-time) About me: I'm new to DnD, though not new to sci-fi and fantasy settings. My weekend game dissolved due to off-table life things and I'm looking to join a new group. I'm fairly laid-back and prefer a mix of RP and combat rather than combat-focused campaigns. I like to make characters that fit the setting more than one I pull out of a backlog (mostly because I don't have a backlog) and I'm pretty open to playing almost any class. I struggle a bit with RP but it's something I want to do more and get better at. LGBTQIA+ friendly Preferences for a new group: I would prefer to not be the only woman in the group, and I am 30. I'm fine playing with a variety of ages but when I played with a group where the majority was under 23, I felt so old it made my bones creak so a slightly older group is my preference. Hard limits: I play DnD to have fun, I don't want to deal with r*** and sexual assault in a game, not of my character or other characters. I also can't deal with people dying from a pandemic/widespread disease as a plot point (vague mentions fine, intense discussion as it is core to the plot is not fine).
