Dynamic Lighting Lag Suddenly?

Hi! I've been using Roll20 for about the last two or three years and have been GMing here for about a year less then that, and have always been using Dynamic Lightning. But as of recent I've had to set my game back to Legacy Lighting because no matter what I do the moment I place a player token on the map with sight it not only lags my entire game to a halt but also completely bricks roll20 (The screen freezes then all I can see is a corner of the map but extremely zoomed in). I've seen others here with a similar problem and have tried everything to get this to work but nothing is helping. Is this some sort of bug that's recent and is gonna be fixed anytime soon?

Hi Dominic! The best thing to do is to capture a Console Log ( Chrome ,  Firefox ) from the time the lag starts, and send that in a  Help Center Request . Without technical feedback, the team can only guess at the cause.
I would love to do that, but the moment I turn on the new dynamic lightning nothing on my internet wants to work, been forced to hard turn off my computer multiple times because of it. Legacy Lighting still works like a dream. Have tried 3 different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) and its always the same result, turn on new Dynamic Lightning, roll20 lags and bricks then my internet bricks to the point that not even Task Manager can stop it.

It might be worth it to try the  Help Center Request  at any rate, including that info. I've not heard of a failure of the system that strong.
I've been having the exact same problem... I would love to find a solution for this :/

Josiah S. said: I've been having the exact same problem... I would love to find a solution for this :/ A  Help Center Request  is the best way to get dev attention. This is not a common issue, so it probably is beyond regular user help.
I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago.  ADL would just cripple system performance with lag.  It seems to have improved lately but ADL is still running poorly compared to LL.
