Is there any chance of a D20 Modern Character sheet being added to the list of existing templates? If so, whats the timeframe on that?

It all depends on someone in the community deciding to tackle it. The timeframe is whatever speed they go. You might get a veteran that cranks it out in an afternoon, you might get someone that is interrupted by life events, or you might get someone inexperienced that takes a few months to get everything to line up while they learn. I've found long ago that the best way to get something done is to either do it myself, or pay someone to do it for me.

For character sheets, if you're not versed in how to write HTML/CSS then it's a good thing to learn, and you won't be going any slower than someone else in your same position. If you post in this forum about your progress (and ask for help where you need it!), you might also pick up a partner with more skill than you, which gets the job done faster, and the end result you want (a functional character sheet for your preferred system) arrives sooner.

Indeed! That's how I learned all the programs I use. I couldn't find anyone to make maps for an online campaign... so I learned how to make them using Inkscape and Gimp, and now I sell them on the Marketplace. I couldn't find a suitable Excel character sheet for a particular game, so I learned how to use Excel. Layout was crappy in MS Word, so I picked up a copy of InDesign and learned how to use it for layout for publishing adventure modules. Youtube in particular has a vast plethora of video tutorials for almost everything imaginable.

I was wondering. Couldn't you use the guts from a 3.5 sheet and change a few variables? All the mechanics should stay the same; some skills changed names and add a field for action points?
