Background game image, used for game listings and so on, refuses to allow any uploads.

Please see the issue in the image below I tried uploading a baldur's gate picture, it would never load Despite the image being 800x526px it was still too much. So i tried a single colour image, the size of 256x256px and that was too much to load. I then deleted everything in my library, destroying fun tokens, memories and maps from years of hosting just to clear space JUST IN CASE, the vague problem was because there wasn't enough memory for it now that I am a free user. The image would still not load. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

I don't know, uploading a game image just worked for me in a test. Does it behave the same way in a different game? You might want to work through the troubleshooting steps to see if that clears up the problem. https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues

Your account page should give your storage quota and current usage. If you are over quota, check audio first. If you have uploaded any sound, it generally takes up much more storage than graphics. If you are under quota and still cannot upload--even to the VTT, let alone the game image--then something is likely wrong with that field that requires dev intervention. I would suggest sending a Help Center Request .

I also tried on internet explorer and chrome, it did not work.

It appears I’m over storage quota, but isn’t it cool that I have to guess that THAT is the problem? >_> rather than just sitting me in limbo for an infinite upload…. now to try and delete my audio, it seems like I got to launch a game to do it.
I can confirm it’s because I was over upload capacity. I see no godly reason a small error notice saying “your over upload capacity” was too much to have in roll20 for this situation :/
